Rate: $40.00 per night plus tax ~ discount rate not in season
Date of Stay: June 6th ~ for 7 nights
Favorite Sites: We stayed on site #9 and it was good for us. If you were longer then 40 ft you might want to stay in another site. Tell them your lenght and they will put you in a good site.
Weather During Stay: Some sunny days and some rainy days ~ nice cool temperatures
Phone/TV/Internet: Verizon worked really well but AT&T was spotty ~ We couldn't get Direct Satellite because of a tree but their Cable was one of the best services with about 100+ clear channels ~ Our Verizon Mi-fi card worked really well (3G).
Elevation/Landscape: Level sites and trees with local plants ~ less then a mile from beaches. I am loving all the flowers this time of year.
Lighting/Noise: Both are very good.
Hiking/Walking/Biking: Park is small so not a long ways to walk but the beaches are just down the road where you can walk for miles on the beach.
Things to See & Do: • Miles of sandy beaches • Plum Island State Park • Salisbury State Park • Odiorne State Park • Surf casting • Whale Watching • Deep Sea Fishing • Clamming • Kayaking • Jet Skiing • Surfing • Skate parks • Cycling • Boat Mooring & Deep water ports • Public 9 & 18 Hole Golf Courses • Newburyport Walking Tours • Bird watching • Deep Sea Fishing • Portsmouth Walking Tours •
Plus you are close enough to visit Salem • Historic Boston • Gloucester • House of Seven Gables • Manchester by the Sea • Ipswich •
Rating: (9.8) It would have been a 10 if the sites weren't so close together. We loved this park ~ even though they are small they have all the amenities of a BIG park. They are friendly and well prepared for guest. We are wanting to extend our stay here another week and highly recommend this park for your visit to the North Massachusetts Coast.
